How long does it take to get PADI-Certified?

Once the online theory exam has been taken, the remaining water and practical scuba diving skills training takes two and a half days.

Can people dive without being certified?

Yes. We offer a short course - Discover Scuba Diving, which includes a 10-minute video, practising four basic skills in the pool, and a fun dive in the ocean. The whole programme takes four hours. This is NOT a Scuba Diving Certification course and student divers will dive under close supervision of PADI trained professionals.

How far are the dive sites?

The Namena Island Reserve is our most popular scuba diving site, located 20 miles from the resort, a 30-40-minute boat-ride each way. The Dream House diving location is 20-30 minutes each way. Additionally, there are several sites that take 10-15 minutes to get to. Lastly, the famous Golden Nuggets is only a 5-minute boat ride away.

What Divers Expect to see?

Savusavu Bay and its reefs have so much to offer. Every dive site has its own unique ecology and characteristics. Guests are encouraged to check with the Dive Master/Instructors for details regarding specific dive locations.
