Fiji Resort - Swimming Pools
We are one of the only 5-star resorts with an oceanfront pool.
We invite you to refresh in the spacious freshwater pool overlooking
the Pacific, ideal for a cooling dip or serious laps.
In February, 2004, we gave the Serenity Pool area a major
facelift. We enlarged the pool to include an infinity edge and a
shallow soaking area with umbrellas and tables. We expanded the
deck area, too and added covered pergola area that provides shelter
from the sun's rays. All-new deck furniture provides the perfect
place to soak them up.
Fiji Resort Pool - Family Pool and Water Slide
All guests are welcome at the Family Pool, which is open from 7.30am
until 8.00pm (unless scheduled activities are planned). Childrens
play in these pools is fully supervised, although parents are encouraged
to rediscover the child within and play with the kids
and staff for at least part of the day. Our Honeymooners often enjoy
the slide too!
The Family Pool is a great place for kids to play. Floaties, games
and toys are encouraged and sunshade covers keep play safe for children's
tender skin. The Family Pool is closed for safety reasons when staff
are not in attendance.
Fiji Resort Pool - Lai Lai Pool
We have a third pool for younger children or less confident swimmers.
Specially designed to be fun, it also has its own water slide. The
Lai Lai Pool is fully supervised and has a sunsafe cover.
Resort Pool Policies:
The Serenity Pool, located near the Restaurant, is our only
designated quiet place at the resort. We do not allow
children under 13 to use this pool at any time, for several reasons.
First, the Serenity Pool is provided in the interest of all our
adult guests, those with and without children, who seek holiday
relaxation, time out and tranquility. From our experience,
this is appreciated by discerning guests, who welcome this peaceful
environment themselves and know that most small boutique resorts
do not take families because it's a challenge to maintain such an
ambience. Second, the proximity of this pool to our public spaces
and nearby guest bures affects the ambience of the entire area.
Third, the pool's Horizon Edge is a temptation to kids and is unsafe
for play; it is off limits to all guests for liability reasons.
Last, this pool is not sunsafe for childrens play.
