Fiji Dining

Dining Room and Bar

The resort's award-winning meals are served in an open-air dining room, which overlooks the sea and features a 60-foot high temple roof. Serving the "Best Food in Fiji" (Travel + Leisure, November 2002), the restaurant specializes in contemporary Fijian, South Pacific and International cuisine complemented by an extensive selection of fine wines. Overlooking the pool and ocean beyond, the bar serves non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer and exotic drinks.

High speed, wireless internet access is now available for a small fee.

Each week, guests enjoy two special dining events: a Lovo, the traditional Fijian feast, and Mongolian barbecue/stir-fry.

During cocktail hour and dinner each night, our local Fijian "Beach Boys" will entertain you with local Fijian and American songs.

Dining by Starlight at Pier's End
Enjoy an intimate dinner at the end of our private pier. Surrounded by the gentle waters of the Koro Sea, experience award-winning dining, as the sunset pales into starlight and candlelight. Reservations are required and based upon availability.

Private Dine-Out Bures
We recently added another option for couples to have a private, romantic dinner. Our two thatched-roof Dine Out Bures are situated along the shoreline and provide an intimate, idyllic setting

Private Fiji Island Escape
Ever want to be alone on your own private island, just the two of you? Now's the time. Reserve our idyllic island for the day and escape to your own secluded paradise. After our Fijian chef prepares a gourmet picnic lunch and ices a bottle of Champagne, our boat will ferry you over to Naviavia Island to be alone together. But if you think getting there is half the fun, grab your snorkeling gear and kayak out to the island on your own.

Family Dining Options

Breakfast is served to all guests in the Restaurant. For lunch and dinner, parents and their children can eat at Bula Club or the Restaurant, which opens 30 minutes early to accommodate families with younger children. For adults and families whose children are over age 13, there is a separate Dining Area.

The Bula Club staff checks with all families meal by meal to determine where various family members prefer to eat lunch and dinner. These often change from meal to meal or day to day!

Many children prefer a less formal, more fun meal experience. Bula Club's dining area offers this – plus a healthy, tasty children’s menu prepared on-site to order. We encourage parents to join their kids at meal times, then come relax in the Dining Room and enjoy time with each other. Bula Club meals are served to suit children's ages and accommodate kids' activity programs, including evening fun such as frog hunts, movies and games, offered in the conference rooms. After parents are finished dining, they can collect their children, unless the kids are already put to bed and sleeping in the bure with their nanny.

Families have many other dining options as well, such as a BBQ at Bula Club or ordering from the daily table d’hôte menu for delivery poolside at Bula Club. For more privacy, families may arrange to lunch in a beachside bure, enjoy a picnic on the beach, or dine in their bure. We offer these services with our compliments to ensure a great family experience.

Additional dining choices include a family meal on your bure's deck, in a beachfront dine-out bure, and a special private dinner at pier's end. Additional charges may apply and advance bookings are required.
