the internationally acclaimed publisher of hotel guides has announced nominations for the ‘awards for excellence 2005’, with Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Islands Resort receiving one of the four nominations for Most Outstanding Resort.

The Conde Nast Johansens Recommended Hotel Guides are the most comprehensive illustrated reference to independently owned, annually inspected hotels throughout North America, Great Britain and Europe

Commenting on the recent nomination, Greg Taylor, Resort Manager, said ... "I could not be prouder to have been nominated in such a strong field of contenders. I am also delighted that our resort is the only nominated contender in the South Pacific region which gives further recognition to our newly renovated deluxe property and staff’s outstanding achievement."

Honored as the Best Resort Hotel for Diving by Harpers Abroad in the "150 Best Places on Earth" in the Harpers & Queen Travel Awards, January 2003.
